About Yoshifumi

Yoshifumi Imamura is Japan Country Manager for New Zealand Crown Research Institute, GNS Science and a private company, Geo40.

He has been active in international business for 30 years, having gained an MBA from the University of Leicester.

He has worked for international companies, starting with one of the largest trading companies in Japan, - ITOCHU - and has experience in setting up Japan bases for international companies. He joined NZTE in Tokyo nine years ago, attracted by the similarities between the geography and people of New Zealand and Japan.
